Technical onboarding
This explains the process; it is not a live status for a customer website.
Website and plan are uniquely assigned to your customer account. Payment alone does not confirm completed setup.
A time-limited single-use code connects the website. “Code accepted” means the assignment is correct; technical work may still be running.
Files and database are backed up externally and technically verified. A started or incomplete upload does not count as success.
Only after technical prerequisites are met does the connector show a successful connection and agreed operations begin.
Large backups and slow hosting connections take longer. Progress and open issues are visible in your account. An unconfirmed step keeps approval pending; waiting is not reported as success.
If your action is needed, the next step is specifically identified. Do not start parallel backups or change storage configuration during an upload. Contact Kayba support if something is unusual.
